I have
recently added a lovely Australian girl to my readers, so this post will be in English
for her sake (google translate can only do so much) :)
Saturday
night was the night of my first drag show and I have to say that it was amazing
:D I haven’t had that much fun for ages! We met up to go eat Mexican food at
this new place in Newtown and I had the best nachos and the best frozen
margarita ever :) actually it was my first frozen margarita ever, so the
contest wasn’t to great… After long interesting discussions about work, STD’s
and female urinals we continued on to the Imperial Hotel and the Pricilla Queen
of the Desert drag show. I feared that I had gotten my hopes up too high and
that I would be disappointed, but I wasn’t… not at all! I had the best of
company and the best of entertainment combined with drinks and a (surprisingly)
popular outfit. The perfect cocktail for a great party! The show was amazing and
I envied the girls on stage… I mean a regular girl would never be able to go
anywhere in such crazy outfits without being labeled as a insane! But the
outfits were amazing and I promise you all that someday I will find and excuse
to wear a dress made out of thongs (klip klapper)!
There was
several shows that evening and every single one of them took about half an hour
and every single one was different from the previous show! I don’t get why the
entry price was so low… for once in my life I would actually have been willing
to pay a lot more than what was demanded of me! Very out of character… but it
was really a fantastic experience and I even got to meet with Miss Comeandgetit
after the final show! I was quite star struck, which was weird… it wasn’t
exactly Orlando Bloom standing in front of me… It was a young pretty version of
Dame Edna. Well anyway… We all had a lot of fun at the Imperial and I would
recommend to everyone with an open mind to go and have one heck of a time!

After the
final show I was kidnapped by Toni and Danielle to go to Flinders, which is a
bar in Chippendale. Apparently it is kind of a creepy bar but as usual I didn’t
really pick up on that before I saw a couple doing drugs in the bathroom… Makes
me wonder how clean the toilets actually were… hmm. However, regardless of the
bar standard I had a great time hanging out with Toni! A few people even even
cam up and talked to me at the bar; Weird Creepy Guy, Spin Guy, and Gay Sash
Guy. I thought they were all so nice and friendly, but in hindsight I think
they were probably just drugged up to a comfortable state of mind.
The
security guys at Flinders had a metal detector so I finally got the opportunity
to find out whether my implants are the reason why I always “beep” at the
airport security :) They weren’t… so maybe I’m just really unfortunate in the
airport?
I’m getting
side tracked here… Anyway, I got home around 4 am and went to bed at 5.30, so I
had 4 hours of sleep before Esben called me up on skype. The last call from
Denmark before he left on a plane the morning after :D I can’t wait till he
gets here and it is affecting my brain quite seriously… I hope it gets better
when I see him ;) I think that I am quite entertaining to the people around me
but I can’t really tell. I just want him to be here soon! But there is still 8
hours and 15 minutes to go!
This is
probably my last post for a long long time, as we Esben and I are leaving for
Cairns on the 1st of December, coming back to Sydney on the 5th,
and then we are all leaving for New Zealand on the 6th of December.
We are leaving Australia for good on the 17th so it won’t be long
till I see you all again!
Unfortunately,
this means that I will be saying goodbye to the amazing friends I have gotten
down here! And to you Toni and Mike, if you are reading, I would just like to say thank you
for all the fun we had and all the support you have given me throughout my
stay! I won’t forget it and I really hope that we can keep in touch despite the
distance!
Hugs and love…
